Love that, Ann! Thanks for your kind comments about my book. You really made my day! You have the toughest job in the world, and it sounds like you're doing it amazingly well. Keep hope alive and let me know when you hear him say his first words. Blessings to you and your family...
Leeann, moms like me today have the resources and support we do due to people like you who have blazed the trail before us -- we stand on your shoulders, and I am extremely grateful to you. Our pediatricians and school system toay are on board with helping our children with ASD, and it's not lost upon me that just a few years ago things were very different. I can't believe what you went through on your own to help your son, and now others! Thank you so much for commenting on my blog -- I am thrilled that of all people, it was yours to be the first comment. Happy New Year! -Ann.
Through Gregory, who is on the autism spectrum, I've learned that while not all of us are endowed with superior talents, others are gifted more for their ability to inspire the rest of us to become better people. "Disability" is in the eye of the beholder, and kids like Gregory give us new eyes with which to see the world. He is one of my greatest teachers.
